Pants Mod 1

The Mantle Pant Mod 1 is the next evolution in operational clothing. A technical item that, from the ground up, was designed to interface with not only the wearer but a variety of deck surfaces like nothing currently on the market. The fit, construction, and layout promote aggressive movement, positional work, and comfort. The Mantle Mod 1 Pants do not include external or internal knee pads - for a more streamlined/uniform look. They still include an internal pocket for knee pads.

I’ve had these Mod1 pants for several months now and have worn them instructing at week long classes on the range (LEO). These pants are rad, durable, comfortable, articulating, and breathable (as compared to Crye G3). Few issues though…Nit picking. Need a long size. I know you guys are aware of this. Also pant leg opening can be knocked down to 8-8.5 inches (16-17 inches circumference). I know the 80’s were rad and all but bell bottoms can stay there. I brought mine to a seamstress who stretched me out 33inch inseam and 16 inch circumference openings. After that these larry’s are tip top. Would love 34 inseam though. #longleggedloser

I’m happy overall with the pants. For the price… yeah I knew what I was getting into, and I foresee them lasting years. I really like the materials- a lot. And I’m a big fan of the airflow vents on the inner thighs. I’m not happy with the D3O knee pads themselves or the location they’re held, but I suppose they can’t be perfect for everyone’s body. Some stitching was fraying after two days of use.
